The Invacare High Plus Sling gives support to the whole body including the head, which should achieve a slightly reclined yet comfortable position. It will also allow the user to keep their arms out side of the sling during transfer.
Typical applications are for those who have limited control of the head, trunk or hips, or for transfers to and from a lying position. This design of sling is also ideal for seated to seated transfers and the Universal High Plus Sling is very easy to fit.
The fabric to the rear section has been stiffened to ensure even weight distribution and comfort for the user. Various size choices are available.

*Polyester - easy to apply, slides smoothly and is washable ( as standard )
*If the user will spend long periods in the sling then a risk assessment for skin integrity should be carried out to ensure the correct fabric and sling are selected. If you are unsure about which sling to select please consult your medical practitioner.
All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! The cost for this service is £95.00 (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)
If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!
We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in its original packaging. All of our new products have at least a 1-year parts warranty and some of our larger items have even longer (please call for further details). In addition to this, we include a free 1-year home call out promise. This means that if you experience any technical problems, which cannot be solved by other methods, we will send an engineer to your home, free of charge, to fix the problem.
After this 1-year period, we will still make an engineer available to you should you need one but the cost will be borne by the customer.
