The anti-tamper feature stops patients switching their local alarm systems off - an event that can have serious consequences or cause upset to fellow patients. This latest alarm technology can only be turned off by an infrared remote control that can be kept by the carer. The Lifemax Anti-Tamper Care Alarm works as a local alarm or can connect into a multi point Nursecall system with a suitable connecting cable. There are two alarm sounds, with adjustable volume and a silent mode for use with Nursecall systems that operate on remote alarm signalling. Designed with a tough resin case with rubberised edges for ultimate durability. It can be wall mounted or fitted to beds, chairs or wheelchairs with the two different size mounting hooks included. The system uses a code to match each remote control to the monitor and eliminates interference from other systems. A low battery indicator is incorporated. Can be used for pull cord operation or with optional sensor pads. Alarms when someone gets up out of a bed, wheelchair or chair. Loud or soft volume settings and low battery indicator. Versatile mounting base and hanger included. Tamper free reset and suspend by infrared remote control. Connect to Nursecall systems for remote alarm signalling. Suspend mode allows for patient repositioning with adjustable standby time. Reset mode puts the alarm into standby until reactivated by next use. Cable holder to prevent accidental disconnection. Two alarm sounds. Silent mode for use with remote alarm signalling Nursecall systems. 4 digit ID code to match remote control to alarm and eliminate interference. Rubberised housing for protection against damage caused by dropping on hard floors. Dual power, can use 4 AA batteries, not included, or optional mains adapter.

Accompanied Delivery

All of our major products are available with an "Accompanied Delivery". This means that your new mobility product will be delivered to your door and assembled. The delivery person will go through the operations of the mobility product and show you how to use it, store it and even to charge it when required. Our staff will ensure  that you are entirely comfortable with your mobility product before they leave and they will even take the packaging away with them! The cost for this service is £95.00 (This service is only available to Mainland UK addresses)

Standard Delivery from Mobility Scooters Plus

If you are happy with your choice of mobility product and don't feel that you need someone to go through it all with you, you can opt for a "standard delivery". With the standard delivery option, included in the price you will still have the mobility product delivered to your door but it will be sent by one of our professional carriers. You will need to be able to un-box the product yourself and dispose of the packaging. The majority of our power products arrive on a pallet, so you will have to dispose of that as well. Don't forget, we are always available on the telephone to help if you get stuck!

Returns policy

We very much hope that you will love your new mobility product and get many years of pleasure and service from it. However, if for any reason you wish to return your product to us you can do so within fourteen days as per the distance selling regulations. The product should be in "as new" condition and in its original packaging. For full details please click this link http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm or call us on 01572 720699 and we will be pleased to help you.

All of our new products are UK supplied and come with a complete warranty in the same way that you would receive a warranty if you bought a product from a traditional retail shop.

All of our new products have at least a 1-year parts warranty and some of our larger items have even longer (please call for further details). In addition to this, we include a free 1-year home call out promise. This means that if you experience any technical problems, which cannot be solved by other methods, we will send an engineer to your home, free of charge, to fix the problem.

After this 1-year period, we will still make an engineer available to you should you need one but the cost will be borne by the customer.

Please note that all "Pre-owned" power products come with 3 months parts and labour warranty, and home engineer call out.

Please note that the home call out promise relates only to the following products.

  • Mobility Scooters (all types)
  • Powered Wheelchairs
  • Rise and Recline chairs
  • Adjustable Beds
